Job Responsibilities

The Point of Sale (POS) Developer is responsible for the technical development, creation, maintenance, and operation of the POS and other store systems.
The POS Developer will analyze requirements, propose solutions, manage timelines and deliverables for the solutions, as well as support the day-to-day operations of store systems.
Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain POS solutions that help the business achieve goals and objectives.
Interpret business requirements into actionable development tasks.
Develop and deploy applications using the organization’s technology practices, standards, and procedures.
Provide systems integration leadership and support.
Assist in recommending, implementing, and improving IT development processes.
Design a solution to fit business objectives in the capacity of the POS team.
Work cooperatively with key business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver value-added technology solutions.
Convert abstract business ideas into technical architectures, designs, and implementations.
Optimize and streamline business processes with a technical solution.
Assist with audits on POS clients and servers at each site.
Review the configuration files and resilient database, and perform testing on each POS.
All other duties are assigned.
