Job Responsibilities

Research, examine and collect plants or herbs to assist in researching and producing extracts in cosmetics.
Assess the feasibility of the project and plan the operation of the department to present to the executives.
Try to cultivate plants or herbs with exceptional natural active components, as well as extra plants as allocated.
Create a technique to improve the productivity of producing medicinal plants in a research setting by utilizing cutting-edge technology or efficient management techniques.
Deliver cultivation, production, and post-harvest technology to Contact Farming as assigned.
Provide information on how to apply to certify agricultural standards, such as organic production standards, both nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

25 years+
Graduated with a master’s degree in the Faculty of Agriculture or Science who specializes in plant science, agronomy field, that focuses on plant biology or other subjects connected to boosting the productivity of plants (emphasis on medicinal plants) in both quantity and quality using agricultural technology.
Expertise in research administration and management, particularly in the field of research.
Creative, passionate, informed and problem-solving skills.
Be able to design experiments (experimental design).
Strong communication and co-ordination skills.
Special consideration will be given if you have experience managing research fields with farmers.
Good speech, reading, listening and writing skills in English.

25 years+
