Job Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain POS solutions that help the business achieve goals and objectives.
Interpret business requirements into actionable development tasks.
Convert abstract business ideas into technical architectures, designs, and implementations.
Design solutions to fit business objectives in the capacity of the POS team.
Develop and deploy applications using the organization’s technology practices, standards and procedures.
Work cooperatively with key business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver value-added technology solutions.
Provide systems integration leadership and support.
Optimize and streamline business processes with technical solutions.
Assist with audits on POS clients and servers at each site. Review the configuration, files, a resilient database, and perform testing on each POS.
Assist in recommending, implementing, and improving IT development processes.

Qualifications

23 years+
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
2+ years of experience with front-end web development using PHP and Vue.js.
Familiarity with the PHP Laravel framework would be an advantage.
Proven experience writing and debugging MySQL queries.
Experience with the Ubuntu operating system would be an advantage.
Must be looking for a long-term position with a focus on personal and professional development.
